چکیده
Abstract The main parameters that influence the structure–reactivity relationship of organozinc and organozincate reagents are gathered in this perspective article. Influences substituents, inorganic salts, solvents discussed illustrated with examples from literature. Based on peculiarities chemical system, is enlarged by molecular modelling considerations to raise comprehension at scale structure–activity relationships solution.

Enantioselective addition of organozinc reagents to carbonyl compounds*
Different chiral camphorsulfonamide derivatives containing a hydroxy or a sulfonamido functionality, as well as chiral 1,2-hydroxysulfonamides, have been evaluated as chiral promoters in the classical enantioselective addition of dialkylzinc reagents to aldehydes in the presence of titanium tetraisopropoxide (ee up to 96 %). Surprisingly, ligands with a structure of isoborneol are able to promo...

The pivalates RZnOPiv⋅Mg(OPiv)X⋅n LiCl (OPiv=pivalate; R=aryl; X=Cl, Br, I) stand out amongst salt-supported organometallic reagents, because apart from their effectiveness in Negishi cross-coupling reactions, they show more resistance to attack by moist air than conventional organometallic compounds. Herein a combination of synthesis, coupling applications, X-ray crystallographic studies, NMR ...
متن کاملCuI catalyzed sulfonylation of organozinc reagents with sulfonyl halides.
In this study, a facile CuI catalyzed synthesis of sulfones involving a nucleophilic addition of functionalized organozinc reagents to organic sulfonyl chlorides is realized. This reaction proceeds efficiently at room temperature, giving rise to various functional group substituted sulfones, generally in moderate to high yields. The method provides a novel, simple, and promising strategy for fu...
متن کاملCopper-catalyzed Enantioselective Conjugate Addition Reactions of Organozinc Reagents
Conjugate addition (1,4-addition) of carbon nucleophiles to a; b-unsaturated compounds is one of the most important carbon–carbon bond-forming strategies in synthetic organic chemistry [1]. The versatility of the conjugate addition is mainly due to the large variety of nucleophiles (organometallic reagents, Michael donors, other carbanions) and acceptors (a; b-unsaturated aldehydes, ketones, ni...
